FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KEPUTUSAN INVESTASI GENERASI MILLENIAL

This study aims to examine the effect of accounting knowledge, company image, gender, and education on investment decisions in the millennial generation. The endogenous variable used is investment decisions. The sample millennial generation, namely individuals born in 1980-2000, totaled 41 respondent. Data were collected using the purposive sampling method, by distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique used the PLS (Partial Least Square) analysis method with Smart PLS 3.0 software. The results of the study show that investors with the highest level of education are undergraduate 46.3%, dominated by men 65.9%. Accounting knowledge affects investment decisions, company image affects investment decisions, gender does not affect investment decisions, and education does not affect investment decisions. The output of this research improves the knowledge of the millennial generation to invest in the future, as a scientific contribution and becomes a consideration for investors in deciding to invest.
