Abstract

This study focuses on the accountability system, which is a form of accountability for the management of public funds by the government, which is carried out starting from the planning, implementation, accountability stages to the management of Village Fund Allocation. This research was conducted because of the large amount of funds budgeted by the government. vulnerable to fraud due to the lack of transparency in reporting to the public, as well as the performance of the Village Implementation Team in being responsible for accountability reports that are not in accordance with applicable regulations. This research is expected to be of benefit to the government of Girimoyo Village in an effort to increase the accountability of Village Fund Allocation management. This research was conducted in Girimoyo Village, Karangploso District. Data collection was carried out by direct observation in the field and by interviewing the Village Head, Village Secretary, Village Consultative Body Elements, and representatives of the village community. This research shows that the planning and implementation stages are in accordance with the applicable procedures and the management has been carried out in an accountable and transparent manner. Meanwhile, the accountability stage has not gone well because the human resources, the implementing team, in making administrative reports are still lacking, so there is a need for more guidance and supervision from the local government.
