Understanding the Narrative of Bullying Tragedy Experiences: A Phenomenological Approach to the Case of Fatir Arya Adinata’s Death in Jatimulyo, Tambun, Bekasi Regency

Abstract

Bullying is defined when someone repeatedly and deliberately uses words or actions against a person or group of
people that cause distress and harm their well-being. These actions are usually carried out by people who posses
ith greater influence or power over others, or by people who intends to make others feel powerless or helpless.
This case discusses the tragedy that befell Fatir Arya Adinata, an elementary school student in Jatimulyo, Tambun,
Bekasi Regency, who was the victim of bullying resulting in serious physical injuries and medical complications
that led to his death. Despite various medical efforts, Fatir's health continued to deteriorate until he eventually
passed away. This study uses a phenomenological qualitative research method. The subject of this study is an
elementary school student in Jatimulyo, Tambun, Bekasi Regency. This study aims to explore the impact of
bullying on the physical and mental health of victims, as well as to identify preventive measures that can be taken
by schools and the community. Through an in-depth analysis of this case, this study emphasizes the importance of
bullying prevention, psychological support for victims, cooperation between schools and medical personnel, and
stricter supervision in the school environment. The results of this study are expected to form the basis for further
efforts to create a safe and supportive school environment for children.
