Journal Affiliation and Supervision
The Journal of Public and Business Accounting (JoPBA) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal affiliated with and published by the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Widyagama Malang, Indonesia. The journal publishes original research articles and scholarly studies in accounting and related fields, encompassing public sector accounting, financial accounting, management accounting, auditing, taxation, accounting information systems, and other relevant areas of business and accounting.
JoPBA aims to contribute to the advancement of accounting knowledge and practice through the dissemination of rigorous, relevant, and original scholarly research.
Editorial Management
The editorial management of JoPBA is responsible for coordinating manuscript submissions, initial editorial assessments, peer-review processes, publication decisions, and the dissemination of scholarly articles. These activities are conducted in accordance with the journal's editorial policies, publication ethics, and academic quality standards.
Editorial decisions are based on the originality, scholarly quality, methodological rigor, relevance, and contribution of submitted manuscripts to the journal's aims and scope. The editorial process is designed to uphold academic integrity, ensure a fair and transparent review process, and maintain the quality and credibility of published research.
Platform Management and Technical Support
JoPBA uses an Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform to manage manuscript submissions, peer review, editorial correspondence, and online publication. The journal's online platform is accessible at https://jurnal.widyagama.ac.id/index.php/jopba.
The platform supports the journal's editorial and publishing activities, providing an integrated system for authors, reviewers, and editors. Technical management and maintenance are coordinated with the relevant information technology and journal publishing support units of Universitas Widyagama Malang to facilitate the continuity, accessibility, and reliability of the journal's online publishing operations.
