Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of leader member exchange on employee performance mediated by innovative work behavior. thus this research is a type of explanatory or associative research. The population in this study were all employees of the Putro Dhuwur Sari Cooperative in Malang City, totaling 70 people, including: employees, leaders and central staff. The sampling technique used is a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling as a sampling and sampling technique. There are 4 hypotheses proposed and tested using Smart PLS.

The conclusion in this study states that there is a positive and significant influence between leader member exchange on employee performance mediated by innovative work behavior. Leader member Exchange can improve employee performance through the creation of new innovations. Encourage employees to innovate, create new ideas, promote and test their innovation feasibility. This can affect employee performance.
