Peer Review Process

All manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Integrated Management Systems (JIMS) undergo an initial evaluation by the editorial team. Manuscripts that do not conform to the journal’s scope, focus, or author guidelines will be rejected at this stage without being sent for external review.

Manuscripts that are considered suitable and have potential relevance to the journal’s readership will proceed to a double-blind peer review process, in which both authors’ and reviewers’ identities are concealed to ensure an objective and unbiased evaluation.

Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the Editor will make one of the following decisions:
(1) accepted,
(2) accepted with minor revisions,
(3) requires major revisions, or
(4) rejected.

The Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Integrated Management Systems (JIMS) holds the final authority in determining whether a manuscript is accepted for publication.
