This paper aims to explain the effect of the work environment and compensation on the performance of
employees. The internship will be held from October 2021 to February 28, 2022. The data collection in this
paper uses observations, interviews, field notes, and also activity documentation.The results of the internship
show that human resources are one of the most important things in a company, and the work environment
and compensation are also very important for employee performance. If the work environment is
uncomfortable and not good, it will be able to affect the performance of an employee. If compensation in a
company is not given, it is difficult for the company to achieve its goals, if employees are compensated on
time, and in accordance with their performance, employees will be loyal to the company. If employees are
passionate about work, the Company will also be able to achieve its goals.
