This study was conducted to determine the effect of job satisfaction on turnover intention with organizational
commitment as a mediating variable for health cadres in Trajeng Village, Panggung Rejo District, Pasuruan
City. This research is a quantitative research using saturated sampling method, where the entire population is
used as a sample of 67 health cadres. Data collection in this study was by distributing questionnaires using a
5-point Likert scale. The data in this study were analyzed using PLS (Partial Least Square) with the help of
software on a computer. The results showed that there was a negative and significant effect between job
satisfaction and turnover intention, a positive and significant effect between job satisfaction and
organizational commitment, a significant negative effect between organizational commitment and turnover
intention, and a significant negative effect between job satisfaction on turnover intention and mediation of
commitment. organization. It is hoped that all members of the health cadres in Trajeng Village, Panggung
Rejo District, Pasuruan City can maintain and increase job satisfaction and organizational commitment, the
authorities also need to make improvements to salary satisfaction in accordance with the workload. Because
the job satisfaction variable has an influence on turnover intention which is mediated by the organizational
commitment variable.
