Screening Plagiarism
Plagiarism and self-plagiarism are strictly prohibited in the Journal Widya Gama Intellectual Property Right (WGIPR). To ensure academic integrity, all submitted manuscripts will be checked using a plagiarism detection system.
WGIPR uses Turnitin to examine the similarity level of each manuscript. This system helps identify overlapping or similar text with other published works. Therefore, authors must always use proper quotations and citations when referring to other sources.
If the plagiarism check shows a similarity index of more than 20%, the editorial board will immediately reject the manuscript.
Before the manuscript is published, the authors must also provide a written statement confirming the originality of their work. The originality statement must be signed by the author, at least by one author or the main author, as proof that the manuscript is original and has not been plagiarized.
