About the Journal
Widya Gama Intellectual Property Right Journal is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by Widya Gama University Malang and managed by the Faculty of Law, Widya Gama University Malang. The journal is published three times a year, in March, Juji, and November. The journal aims to disseminate information and views on matters related to Intellectual Property Rights, including developments in cases and legislation, as well as legal reform proposals, both from formal legal reform bodies and from other institutions or individuals. The journal publishes articles, case and legislative notes, as well as commentaries and book reviews on themes related to Intellectual Property Rights that offer in-depth insights into Indonesian law and comparative law. The journal is published Three times in March, July, and November. The journal also promotes the study of Intellectual Property Rights in its political, philosophical, and social context . The journal is strongly committed to responding to and fulfilling the growing demand among academics, legislators, and legal practitioners in the private and public sectors for a forum for authoritative views on Intellectual Property Rights in Indonesia, Asia, and the world. Another related objective is to provide a systematic review of major IP initiatives. The journal publishes cutting-edge IP studies from legal scholars and practitioners. Established in 2026, the journal is published exclusively in English and uses the Open Access Journal (OJS) system. Each issue publishes 1-2 Editorials/Current Commentaries, 5-15 articles (research articles and review articles), case notes, and book reviews.
