Conflict of Interest Policy

JASEE (Journal of Application and Science on Electrical Engineering) is committed to maintaining transparency, objectivity, and integrity throughout the publication process in accordance with the ethical principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

A conflict of interest may arise when financial, professional, institutional, or personal relationships could influence, or be perceived to influence, the research, peer-review process, or editorial decisions.

Authors: All authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest when submitting their manuscripts, including research funding, financial relationships, institutional affiliations, commercial interests, or personal relationships that may affect the research. If no conflicts exist, authors must include the statement: "The authors declare no conflict of interest."

Reviewers: Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest involving the authors, institutions, research projects, or competing professional interests. Reviewers with conflicts that may compromise their impartiality must decline the review assignment or notify the editor immediately.

Editors: Editors must maintain independence and impartiality in editorial decisions. Editors with potential conflicts of interest, including personal relationships, institutional connections, or involvement in the submitted research, must withdraw from handling the manuscript and delegate the editorial process to an independent editor.

Conflict Resolution: The JASEE Editorial Board will assess disclosed or identified conflicts of interest and take appropriate actions, including assigning independent reviewers or editors, requesting additional disclosures, or implementing corrections or retractions when necessary. All cases will be handled fairly and confidentially in accordance with COPE guidelines.

Disclosure of a conflict of interest does not automatically disqualify a manuscript from publication. However, failure to disclose relevant conflicts may result in editorial action.

This policy applies to all authors, reviewers, and editors involved in the JASEE publication process.
