Correction and Retraction Policy

JASEE (Journal of Application and Science on Electrical Engineering) is committed to maintaining the accuracy, reliability, and integrity of the scholarly record. The journal follows the principles and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in addressing errors, ethical concerns, and research misconduct identified after publication.

  1. Corrections

JASEE may publish a correction (erratum or corrigendum) when errors are identified in a published article that do not substantially affect the validity of its findings or conclusions. Such errors may involve authorship information, numerical data, equations, figures, tables, or other technical details. Corrections will clearly describe the changes and be linked to the original article.

  1. Retractions

JASEE may retract a published article when its findings or conclusions are unreliable due to significant errors, data fabrication or falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, unethical research practices, or other serious violations of publication ethics. Retraction decisions are made by the Editor-in-Chief following an appropriate investigation and consideration of the available evidence.

A retracted article will remain accessible in the journal archive, clearly marked as "RETRACTED," and linked to a publicly available retraction notice explaining the reasons for the decision.

  1. Expressions of Concern

JASEE may issue an Expression of Concern when credible concerns arise regarding the integrity or reliability of a published article but the available evidence is inconclusive or an investigation remains ongoing. The notice will be linked to the original article and updated when a final decision is reached.

  1. Editorial Procedures

Concerns regarding published articles may be submitted to the JASEE Editorial Office through the journal's official contact channel. The editorial team will assess the concerns, examine relevant evidence, and provide the authors with an opportunity to respond. Independent experts or relevant institutions may be consulted when necessary.

The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for the final editorial decision, which will be made objectively, confidentially during the investigation, and in accordance with COPE guidelines. Editors involved in a conflict of interest will not participate in the decision-making process.

  1. Publication Transparency

All correction, retraction, and Expression of Concern notices will be published promptly, made freely accessible, and permanently linked to the affected articles. Each notice will identify the original publication, explain the editorial action, and indicate the responsible issuing party. Relevant article metadata and DOI records will be updated where applicable to preserve the integrity and traceability of the scholarly record.
